Here are the steps for Obtaining your Texas CDL With Us
Step 1: Obtain your Medical DOT Card.

Step 2: All candidates must complete approved ELDT course prior to testing for any CDL exams.
Your certificate after completing ELDT course will be electronically filed with FMCSA. You should be able to proceed with scheduling your CDL exams.
Step 3: Study, Schedule, and Pass DPS exams.
Below are exams you must pass to obtain your Commercial License Permit
1. Texas Commercial Vehicle Operation Exam
2. Combination Exam * (Class A Only)
3. General Knowledge Exam
4. Air Brakes Exam
Step 4: Pre-Trip Video
You must watch this video on identifying all the parts of the truck that DPS examiner will expect you to know. Once you are ready schedule a interview with our team so you can demonstrate what you learn from video.
Highly recommended you take notes and recite the information in the same top-down order as in the video.
The purpose of this step is to create you a foundation to prevent you from drowning (information overload) your first week.
Once you pass this portion...You will be issued a class start date.
